Cisco ESR 10000 Router Crashes with a Bus Error Exception at qos_set_handle_add_event

Symptom:
The Cisco IOS router will crash with a bus error execption. If the router is not power-cycled after the crash, a Router#show version or Router#show stack IOS EXEC command will display an output similar to:
bus error at PC 0x602A264C, address 0x60892257
10000 Software (C10K-K4P10-M), Version 12.0(27)S5, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)
Conditions:
This crash will only occur on a Cisco IOS device that is configured for Quality of service and per-packet load-balancing - PPLB.
Note that this bug is platform independent and as such, it can impact all Cisco platforms.
Workaround:
None
Solution:
Upgrade to 12.0(32)S, 12.0(30)SZ9 and later Cisco IOS releases to get the fix to this bug.
